TTL USA PLASTIC SUBSTITUTE MATERIAL

Introducing an innovative raw material that can be used in many areas of industry and everyday life to stop the pollution caused by plastic waste for a better, more livable, and sustainable future.

The non-polluting composite material can be prepared in currently used industrial, large-scale molding technologies of plastics production without changing the production process.

DOT 1 can be used to manufacture a wide range of products and product groups. The technology does not require any special equipment; production can be carried out with the plastics machinery currently in use. The conversion of existing equipment to the production of the new material can be easily completed in a couple of hours. In the EU, they currently have 3 production plants, which, in addition to producing a range of products ready for mass production, can also manufacture automotive components.

DAT 1 vs. PLA – BIODEGRADATION is fully degradable by fermentation and does not cause any environmental damage. These properties have been confirmed by independent laboratory studies. PLA does not degrade; it breaks down as micro- plastics and remains in the soil.

Scientific research shows that it takes several hundred years for PLA to degrade completely under natural conditions, while under industrial conditions, it requires moisture, high temperatures, high pressure, and special enzymes to degrade completely.

DAT 1 vs. PLA – COMPOSTABILITY DAT 1 is TÜV certified. It can be composted under natural as well as industrial conditions. It can be collected together with normal kitchen or food waste and can be composted by fermentation even in the home garden.

PLA should be collected and stored separately from all other waste because if any other plastic is mixed in, it will make the whole recycling process impossible. PLA should not be mixed with other organic food waste or compostable materials. The collected PLA waste must be broken down into carbon dioxide, biomass and water through an industrial process that takes 3-6 months.

The physical and chemical properties of the DAT 1 raw material are supported by extensive laboratory tests. Certificates have been issued by TÜV SÜD, SGS, and Eurofins Minerag laboratories.
