How Genie Works: Every modern car has an infotainment system showing critical information; engine health, battery, oil pressure, fuel level, active error codes, navigation, and more. This is the source of truth Genie listens to.
Genie’s vision module captures the infotainment screen through a compact in-cabin camera or screen mirroring. Computer vision and OCR extract every data element — status values, warnings, error codes — in real time.
The extracted data is passed to Genie’s AI core. It classifies issues by severity, detects patterns, correlates warning codes with known problems, and maintains a live health model of the vehicle. Genie knows what’s normal — and what isn’t.
The driver speaks naturally. “Hey Genie, what’s wrong with the car?” or “What’s my tire pressure?” — Genie listens using a wake-word trigger, processes speech using NLP, and maps the question to relevant vehicle data.
Genie synthesizes a clear, concise voice reply. “Your front-left tire pressure is low at 26 PSI. Recommended is 32 PSI. Also, oil temperature is slightly elevated — consider stopping soon.” Hands-free, accurate, contextual.
