40% Cost Reduction Visor Design Concept
The current Visor design has more than 25 subcomponents and has not changed over the last 5 decades that I am aware. Based on the new vehicle model year there are some minor styling-related changes but those are inconsequential to the engineering application core.
In automotive very limited combined cost reduction and feature improvement through tech innovation – essential now for made in USA assemblies.
The concept below essentially makes it a 4-to-5-page assembly targeted high quality and reliability. If needed also allows us to add features with minor cost add – other than the direct cost of the feature application.
