Gesturing continues to capture the imagination and adoption by automotive as it continues to gain acceptance confirmed by 2015 CES.
Microchip developed Gest IC capability for automotive:
- GestIC sensors communicating over CAN with 2D/3D touchpad, Metal over Cap with (dead front + LED back lighting) and LIN RGB back lighting of the Center Stack
- 3D gestures, two 2D gestures, and “gesture gating” feature shown in demo
